Membership Advantages
The Marion County Building Industry Association (MCBIA), with over 130 members, is a volunteer trade organization representing the building industry and its affiliates. By investing in a MCBIA membership you have a 3 in 1 membership. First at the local level with the MCBIA, second on the state level with FHBA (Florida Home Builders Association) and third on the national level with NAHB (National Association of Home Builders).
There are 3 types of membership with MCBIA:
- Builder Membership - Builder License holder or Developer
- Associate Membership - Trades Contractor, Banks, Mortgage, Realtor, Other businesses associated in the building industry
- Affiliate Membership - only available whose main companies are currently active primary members (builder or associate) and would be the host to this affiliate membership.

Benefits and discounts offered through NAHB and Member Advantage
- Discounts! As a member you are eligible for special discounts and benefits—NAHB Discounts FHBA Discounts, available to members only!
- Advertising! You are eligible to advertise in The Blueprint, our monthly newsletter, as well as have a link to your website for $150 in the member directory section and banner ads on this website!
- Membership Directory! Once you’re a member—you have all the contact info for over 400 companies in our industry.
- Insurance! You are eligible to receive insurance (Worker’s Comp, General Liability, Health, etc.) discounts through participating associate members.
