Theresa Smith-Levin

Biography

Theresa Smith-Levin is the founder and Executive Director of Central Florida Vocal Arts and a lifelong Winter Park resident, widely known and respected for her visionary and strategic leadership and passionate advocacy.

She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Florida (B. Music Education and minor in Spanish) and the University of Miami (M. Music in Vocal Performance). Theresa is a classically trained singer and voice teacher and also performs regularly as an actor, guest speaker, clinician, music director and stage director. She is a member of Florida Executive Women, the Women’s Executive Council, the Winter Park Arts Alliance and an alumni of Athena Next Gen and Leadership Winter Park. She also serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Park Avenue District. In recognition of her influence and impact she has been awarded with:

Theresa’s journey is one of resilience, vision, and an unwavering dedication to making a difference. She fiercely fights for the young people who now sit where she sat, building a brighter future for the whole community but especially the most vulnerable among us, knowing first hand the healing and transformative potential of performing arts. Above all else, she is totally and completely in love with her family who fuel her work every day.
