Effective September 1, 2019, the Marion County Building Safety Department will begin permitting ALL Water Heater replacements/change-outs as required under FBC 105.1 Required.

Any owner or owner’s authorized agent who intends to……..replace any…………plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by this code……………. shall first make an application to the building official and obtain the required permit. The installation shall comply with chapter 5- WATER HEATERS of the 6th edition FBC Plumbing and/or the 6th edition of the FBC tren tablets Residential Chapter 20.
